Salem, et al. v. PBT Bancorp (f/k/a “Peoples Bank and Trust Company of Hazard”)

United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, 6:25-cv-172-KKC; Filed: September 19, 2025.    

Our office along with local counsel the Law Office of Michele Henry filed a class action claim on behalf of Mortgage Loan Originators, Team Leaders and Loan Processors who worked for PBT Bancorp. A collective class action claim for overtime pay was brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit alleges that these employees were not properly paid minimum wage and overtime for all hours worked. It seeks minimum wage and overtime pay on behalf of these employees who worked there within the past three years. It also seeks liquidated damages in an amount equal to the wages owed.
