Our office, along with the law firms Nichols Kaster, PLLP and The Winebrake Law Firm, LLC, filed a class action claim on behalf of Loan Officers working for RBS Citizens, N.A. (doing business as CCO Mortgage, Charter One, Citizens Bank). A collective class action claim for overtime pay was brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) on behalf of all Loan Officers nationwide. The lawsuit alleges that these employees were misclassified as overtime exempt. It seeks overtime pay on behalf of employees who worked as Loan Officers within the past three years. Also, for all Loan Officers working in Pennsylvania over the past three years, a class action claim was brought on their behalf for overtime pay under Pennsylvania’s state wage and hour laws.
